Stitching surplus textiles into *local shelter* relief

We mobilize Ohio crafters to turn discarded fabric, yarn, and equipment into handmade comfort goods for people and pets in need, protecting the environment while building community connection.

From local drive to movement

A regional volunteer network built on salvaged cotton

What began as a modest fabric collection in central Ohio has evolved into a dedicated regional community of sewers, quilters, and knitters. By diverting usable materials from local landfills, we redirect surplus resources straight into hands-on workshops and charitable donation pipelines.

Every yard of rescued fabric is sorted, measured, and transformed into sensory blankets, pet bedding, and practical comfort items distributed to dozens of social service agencies across the state.

Core principles

Guided by sustainability, creativity, and deep compassion

We believe that environmental responsibility and community care go hand in hand. Our six foundational values—Service, Creativity, Education, Sustainability, Community, and Compassion—dictate how we rescue materials and support shelter residents.

Whether teaching visible mending skills or packaging handmade blankets for animal rescues, our programs turn individual creative practice into measurable local relief and lasting ecological stewardship.

Enduring value

Every scrap of cotton has another life in it, whether as a sensory blanket for a child or a warm bed for a shelter rescue.
